This project was a complete revamp for a young family’s starter home. In the basement, we reconfigured the layout to build a combination guest room and gym for these super-active homeowners. On the upper floors, we installed a brand new open-layout kitchen, gut renovated two bathrooms and refinished the floors, all while retaining and respecting the home’s original architectural elements.

The hygge-evoking interior design aesthetic was inspired by the owners’ love of natural materials and neutral color palettes. Modern furnishings and art lend the elegant finishing touches.
